Turner, Jr. Project involves conducting an integrated soil-vegetation sampling. The workwill consist of classifying and describing soils and vegetation within polygons defined by the Forest Service. The contractor shall not write a report, but shallprovide documentation that will be the basis of a report written by the Forest Service. The designated area is located on the Greybull and Wind River Ranger Districts on the Shoshone National Forest in northwest Wyoming, Fremont, Hot Springs, Park, and Sublette Counties. Sampling areas are located in the AbsarokaRange. The topography is characterized by steep mountain side slopes that have beenmodified by glaciation, with elevations ranging from 6,000 to 12,000 feet. Portionsof the contract areas are designated as wilderness where access is limited to horseand foot traffic. Grizzly restrictions apply. Anticipated issue date for solicitation package is July 21, 1995. This solicitation is 100 percent small business set-aside. Contract time has a required completion date of September 30,1996. (0153)
