The USAYPG intends to negotiate and award a contract on a sole source basis to Halifax Corporation, 5250 Cherokee Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22312 for (on-site/on-call) maintenance of Real Time Processors. Real Time equipment include two Gould Concept 32/6750 computer systems, one Encore Multisel 6744 computer system, three Encore RSX 6744 computer systems, three Encore Gemini 91-02427 computer systems and Peripheral Switch 73-9642 system. Contractor will provide configuration and reconfiguration, hardware updating, preventive and remedial maintenance to include labor, parts and materials. Base maintenance period is one year with 2 1-year options available. Halifax Corporation is the only known source capable of providing these services as the Encore authorized maintenance representative.
