The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to furnish all labor, parts and materials to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile radios and associated equipment at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The contractor will be responsible for performing all maintenance on Fort Belvoir. Contractor personnel performing the services shall possess a valid, Second Class Radio Telephone Operators license, or better, as issued by the Federal Communications Commission and possess a certificate from a reliable training facility to perform repair on all equipment listed in the solicitation. Solicitaion DAHC35-95-B-0028 will be available on or about August 15, 1995. The period of performance will be from October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996 with two (2) Option Periods. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this procurement is 7622.
