The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) Provide new truck dock platforms and rail dock enclosures over existing platforms at five warehouse locations. Other work includes relocation of existing crushed rock road; construction of a standing seam metal roof structure; lighting protection; installation of corrugated translucent fiberglass sidewall panels; overhead coiling doors; steel doors; install dock levers on existing warehouses; and removal of an existing truck dock platform. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a June 21, 1995. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request. All requests for solicitation packages should be made in writing no later than 14 days prior to bid opening. After such time, packages will be furnished if supply is available. It has been determined that the number of sets be limited to 1 (one) per firm (additional copies will be the responsibility of the requestor).
