The Standard Industrial Code (SIC), for this project is 1542 - General Contractors -Nonresidential Buildings, Other Than Industrial Buildings and Warehouses. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The work includes the alterations and expansion of the existing enclosed office space and bathrooms in Building 3040 and incidental related work. The total duration of Phase A is 70 calendar days. If Phase B is awarded, the total duration of this contract for Phases A and B shall be 140 calendar days. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 21 June 1995. The projected bid opening date is 20 July 1995. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specs at the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction, Building 2004, Room 253, Quantico, Virginia. The hours of operation are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. There will be no charge for these documents, however, there will be only one set issued per contractor. Requests for plans and specifications and bidder's list should be made separately to avoid confusion. This also applies to requests for numerous solicitations.
