number 95148. ACTUAL SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ELECTRONICALLY;
THEREFORE, THERE IS NO NEED TO RESPOND IN WRITING WITH REFERENCE TO
THIS CBD NOTICE. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office
(DITCO), Scott AFB, IL, will procure through an electronic bulletin
board, the Information Technology Acquisition Bulletin Board System
(ITABBS), the following items: Provide nonpersonal services to cover
labor, tools, parts, materials, and transportation to provide
preventive and remedial maintenance on McData LAN software. The
following McData LAN software to be maintained is: Model No. 6102S, LAT
Service Node Software, Quantity of 10; Model No. 6103S TCP Server
Software, Quantity of 10; Model No. 6105S, Host Print Support, Quantity
of 10, Model No. 6108T, SNMP Agent, Quantity of 10; and Model No.
61XXS, Netview Command Processor Software, Quantity of 10. Place of
performance is Defense Megacenter Sacramento, 4300 54th Street, Bldg
600, McClellan AFB CA 95652-1523 effective 01 October 1995 through 30
September 1996. The estimated RFP release date is 26 Jun 1995 with
proposals expected to be due on 31 July 1995. Vendor proposals in
response to this RFP must be received in hard copy. Vendors will be
able to dial into the electronic ITABBS, and download the RFP, check
the status of the RFP, submit questions, receive amendments and other
RFP related correspondence. All responsible sources may submit a
proposal which shall be considered. Information from the electronic
bulletin board system will either be in ASCII or Microsoft Word for
Windows 2.0 format. RFPs are usually a compressed (PKZIP) MS Word file
requiring you to have compatible software to extract the file. The
ITABBS can be accessed by any FIP vendor through standard hardware and
software. To access ITABBS, the necessary communications parameters
are 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, with modem speeds of 1.2 - 14.4
KBPS. ITABBS requirements will remain posted until the deadline has
passed for submission of vendor proposals. Interested vendors are
encouraged to access the ITABBS via telephone number (618) 256-9200 to
