Pilson, Contracting Officer, (202) 634-4567 The U.S. Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration, intends to enter into a contract with Data Resources, Inc., 1200 G Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20005 to provide continuing support for proprietary model extensions and revision of the Input-Output Model for the PC (PCIO) and the Regional Model. In addition, an industrial price forecast model will be designed to be consistent with the industrial results of PCIO and the DRI U.S. Quarterly Macroeconomic Model used by the Energy Information Administration in macroeconomic analysis. The contract will be for one year plus four (4) one year options. This notice of intent is not a request for Competitive Proposals, however, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a Competitive Procurement. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Authority of FAR 6.302-1(b), (1), and (4). Note 22. (0156)
