The Government intends on acquiring PictureTel VTC equipment to include two each of the PictureTel model 700 conference room system with 46'' monitor, DM746 dual monitor option, ICS-4 dual 56kbps interface with CSU, Audio-OP Virtuoso audio package, OP-1E option package, Canon 650 Video Visualizer, Wescom OCU-DP channel cards and installation is to be provided also. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
