Contact, Elizabeth Straub, 513/648-4402. Fernald Environmental
Restoration Management Corporation (FERMCO), the Environmental
Restoration Management Contractor for the DOE's Fernald Environmental
Management Project (FEMP), is seeking additional sources for personnel
cooling vests. The vests, as a minimum, must meet the following
specifications. The outer garment shall be constructed of a breathable
nylon fabric. The vests shall not retain moisture or shrink. The outer
garment shall be washable in warm water and mild detergent. The front
and rear panels shall be 100% nylon and unaffected by water or sweat.
The overall vest must be launderable. Shoulder straps of woven elastic
with adjustable velcro closures are required. The coolant shall be
HTF-A non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, odorless, and colorless material.
