This will assist Federal, State and local entities in establishing and using uniform integrated data as background for the planning process for primary health care. It will, in turn, assist in assuring a coordinated and shared decision-making process at the local level based on the uniform and objective health information which will maximize resources and eliminate duplication while focusing on the special needs of the population.
