solicitation on or about June 30, 1995 (with closing 30 days after
issuance) in support of the Customs Service Broadcast System (Distance
Learning) for interconnect/uplink/satellite airtime (Ku and C Band).
The US Customs Service Broadcast System has over 75 downlink sites
(including Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean and the 48 contiguous states
(including Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean and the 48 contiguous states)
and three broadcast facilities (Indianapolis, Indiana; Clynco,
Georgia; and Headquarters, Washington, DC). The Contractor shall be a
satellite broker (defined as having satellite transponders in their
accountable inventory either by ownership or leasing and having
complete control of the transponders). The Ku and C Band capabilities
are mandatry requirements. The contract will be awarded for a base year
with four one year options available. The SIC Code is 4841. All
