CH2M HILL will procure a subcontractor to construct and maintain an onsite soil vapor extraction system (SVES) at South Indian Bend Wash in Tempe, Maricopa County, Arizona, under its ARCSWEST contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The work will be performed in two phases. The first phase involves the construction and startup of testing of a full-scale SVE system, including drilling 2 SVE wells and installing related components, vacuum blower system offgas treatment system, piping, valving, instrumentation, concrete foundation slab, and asphalt cover. The second phase of work involves the long-term operation and maintenance of the SVE system for a period of 3 to 5 years. The work includes decontamination and cleanup.(153)
