The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA) is soliciting proposals for contractors to provide occupational examinations that will serve as an independent verification of Job Corp students' skill proficiency when they complete their vocational programs. The period of performance for the prospective award will be 12 months from the date of contract execution plus three (3) 1-year options at the discretion ofthe government. The requirement is let under full and open competition. Request for proposals will be available upon written request only, approximately, 15 days from the date of publication, on a first come, first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. Telephone requests will not be honored. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The fee will not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the solicitation documents. Closing date for receipt of proposals will be August 1, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Requests must cite RFP-DAA-95-33 and must include two self addressed labels. Failure to enclose labels may cause delay in receipt of the solicitation. No collect calls will be accepted. (153)
