R -- INDEFINITE DELIVERY MULTI-DISCIPLINARY, BATTLE CREEK AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, BATTLE CREEK, MI SOL DAHA20-95-R-0005. Contact Eva Lauchie', 517-483-5902. Indefinite Delivery Contract, Multi-Disciplinary, to perform Type ``A'' (Investigative), Type ``B'' (Design), and Option to perform Type ``C'' (Construction Surveillance and Inspection) Services, code and criteria reviews, and bid document reproduction for Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, Battle Creek, Michigan. Type ``A'' services (Investigative Phase) shall include, but are not limited to necessary surveys, testing, excavation, research examinations and investigations to include all electrical, mechanical and structural surveys, and verification of all dimensions, measurements and location of all existing facilities, utilities and equipment. Type ``B'' services (Design Phase) shall include calculations, designs, cost estimates, drawings and specifications of suitable quality and completeness for bidding by contractor. Specifications must be in ATA MasterSpec format readable in MS Word word processing. Cost estimates will be by R.S. Means cost estimate format. Computer Aided design shall be part of some work and the A-E must have Auto-Cad capabilities. Designs shall be based on a Statement of Work to be furnished by the Government and on the information gathered by the Type ``A'' service. Design in ``Metric'' measurements may also be required. Type ``C'' services shall include all labor, equipment and materials required to provide construction site inspection, submittal and shop drawing approval, as well as material testing required by the construction documents. This service will be negotiated as an option to the above services. Code and Criteria review includes periodic 6 month reviews of design project to insure code and compliance requirements are still met; optional if required. Reproduction of Bid Documents. Ability to reproduce specifications and drawings for issue to Bid; optional if required. The total A-E fees for the contract will not exceed $750,000. Individual Delivery Orders are limited to $150,000. The contract will be written for an initial performance period of one year and will include an option to extend the contract for one additional year. These services will be required for an undetermined number of projects of varying size and complexity. The selection criteria will include, in order of importance: a) Professional Qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance. b) Specialized Experience and technical competence. c) Capacity to accomplish the work in required time. d) Past performance. e) Location of the firm with respect to Battle Creek ANG Base, MI. f) Volume of work previously awarded by DOD. (The lesser work for DOD rates higher in this area). Architect-Engineering firms that meet the requirements and wish to be considered are invited to submit, within 30 days of the date of this announcement. A completed Standard Form (SF) 254, US government Architect-Engineer Questionnaire and a Standard Form (SF) 255, Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for this specific project. Firms with more than one office must indicate on the SF 255, the office out of which the work will be performed and the staffing composition of that office. Firms responding to this announcement must state in Block #5 on Page 3 of their SF 255, the size status of their firm.
