The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Fort Belvoir, VA intends to acquire, on behalf of, the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) located in Charlottesville, VA., the following telephone services utilizing Synchronous Optical NETwork technology (SONET): maintain, reconfigure and modify as required, the administrative telephone system which supports the mission of NGIC. Vendors who desire a copy of the solicitation document shall provide this office with written certification by Northern Telecom Inc. as being a Meridian Distributor, authorized for the product line and territory covered, to sell, install, warrant and service the Meridian product line; and written confirmation by Fibermux Inc. as a Certified Reseller authorized to sell, install, warrant, and service the Magnum 100 product line. Additionally, to be considered for award offerors shall be required to document verifiable experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of T-3 (45-mbps) data channels. This office intends to award one, one-year contract with four optional years of performance. Performance is scheduled to begin on 01 Oct 1995. Performance will take place in Charlottesville, VA.
