This project includes all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and performance of all operations necessary for the removal and replacement of the existing sanitary sewer outfall located north of McConnell AFB. Work includes removal of the existing VCP sanitary sewer and brick manholes and construction of a new PVC sanitary sewer with manholes, connection of existing sewers, boring and casing, pavement removal and seeding and all other miscellaneous work as necessary to complete the project. Work also includes sanitary rehabilitation of a sewer line located on McConnell AFB. Work includes rehabilitation by the Insituform process for cured in-place pipe, making point repairs of structural pipe failure, post television inspection, connection of sewer services, extension of manholes to ground level, rehabilitation of manholes and all other miscellaneous work as necessary to complete the project. Magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Anticipated issuance date for IFB Solicitation Number F14614-95-B0024 is 22 June 95. Tentative opening date is 20 Jul 95. Performance period will be 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Standard Classification Code is 1623. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantage Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 15 calendar days of this notice. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business concerns. No telephone requests for bid sets will be honored.
