This Alkaline verson of BA-1100 Mercury battery and was developed by BREN-TRONICS Corp., Commack, NY. Application of alkaline cells and design of the BA-3100 is proprietary to BREN-TRONICS. Ths alkaline battery is the only replacement for the envioronmentally undesirable mercury battery presently accepatable to the Government. The US ARMY COMMUNICATIONS COMMAND (CECOM) has established an Electronic Bullentin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitation for Bids (IFBs) from Government to Industry. As of 1 JANUARY 1995, HARD COPIES WILL NO LONGER BE DISTRIBUTED. (Exceptions are Post, Camp and Station Acquisitions). all interested parties wishing to business with CECOM EB System. To become a user of the EBB, you will need an identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the EBB system.
