Revenue Service intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price
contract with IBIS Corporation for the purchase and installation of 1)
a high resolution instrument camera with a spectral range into the
infrared region (wave length range in nanometers approximately 300
nm-1150 nm); 2) a high resolution flat bed scanner (optical 600/1200
dpi); and 3) a high resolution laser image recorder with a SCSI
interface. These three items must be optimally matched and fully
integrated with an existing IBIS DocPro Forensic Image Processing
System presently in use in the laboratory. The instrument camera must
consist of Dage Model 81 Instrument Camera I Ultricon Image Tube;
Multi-rate Drive Module; Special Camera Modification for Ultricon;
Special camera set up; Remote Camera Control and Remote sweep reversal.
No other source is known to have this compatible equipment. Any other
firm desiring consideration must fully identify in writing within
fifteen days of this publication their qualifications/equipment
specifications which clearly denote and substantiate the equipment's
ability to fully integrate with existing items. The aforementioned
information will be used solely to determine whether the Government
should conduct this requirement on a competitive basis. There is no
solicitation. Responses received after the fifteen (15) days or without
the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the
synopsis and will not be considered. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS ARE NOT
