R -- FEDLINK TECHNICAL PROCESSING SERVICES SOL RFP95-27 POC James Chajkowski, Contract Specialist. The Library of Congress is seeking requests from potential offerors who can provide Technical Processing Services to federal libraries, information centers, and other federal offices through the FEDLINK Program. In order to further the timely exchange of authoritative bibliographic information among federal libraries and the nation, this solicitation requests off-site, national level cataloging on behalf of FEDLINK members in four lots: 1) Original Cataloging, 2) Copy Cataloging, 3) Retrospective Conversion, and 4) Physical Processing Services. At a minimum, contractor(s) shall contribute cataloging to FEDLINK Users' Resource Sharing Networks for MARC Books Serials Formats and shall provide specified MARC output.
