The Satellite and Launch Control Systems Program Office (SMC/CW) announces that the Bidders Library for the Network Operation Upgrade Contract (NOUC) is open. The solicitation name has changed from the Command and Control Development Contract (CCDC), but all the expected content remains as was briefed to industry on 21 Mar 95. The Bidders Library contains documentation useful for an Offeror to prepare a proposal for the NOUC. All documents in the library are Unclassifed. The library is located at SMC/CW, Bldg. 110, Rm. 1056D. To visit the bidders library, an appointment must be scheduled by sending a letter or, preferably, an e-mail (nouc@slcspo.laafb.af.mil) to the POC, Lt Guy Mathewson. The request must include the company name, the number of people to be visiting the library, the requested date(s) and time(s) (M-F 0800-1700), and the phone number that will be used by the POC for schedule confirmation or changes. The POC will confirm or reschedule all visit requests. Only one company will be allowed in the library at a time. On your scheduled day and time,. from the SMC/CW lobby in Bldg. 110, call the library manager, Judy Gordon, at 3-3408. She will escort you to the library. Do not contact the library manager until you are at Los Angeles AFB. No other security form is needed. There are no supplies or copier available in the library. Bidders can check items out for a maximum of 24 hours in order to copy them at a local reproduction shop. Some documentation is also available on an electronic bulletin board system (BBS).
