Y -- CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW SINGLE-STORY CHILD CARE CENTER AT THE SALT LAKE CITY AIR ROUTE TRAFFIC CONTROL CENTER (ARTCC), SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH SOL DTFA11-95-B-00165 POC Contact, Clarence Davis, Contracting Officer, (206) 227-2938; FAX (206) 227-1055 Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision necessary for the construction of a new 6,600 S.F., single-story Child Care Center on an undeveloped, mostly level site adjacent to the existing Salt Lake City ARTCC. The work shall include driveways, parking, playgrounds, landscaping, fencing, and all utilities necessary to support the brick-faced, wood-framed building. The planned duration of construction is 210 calendar days. Estimated range of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Solicitation package available O/A July 19, 1995. There is a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 for each set of the solicitation. A check, money order or cashiers check made payable to the Federal Aviation Administration must accompany your written request. Unrestricted procurement in accordance with Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Title VII of the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 (PL 100-656). For Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guarantee on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
