Work consists of furnishing all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, and equipment required to complete the 2nd floor interior of the PME Dormitory at Nellis AFB, NV. Work will include, but not be limited to, drywall and furring, painting, carpeting, VCT, wall covering, wardrobes, doors, acoustical ceilings, bathroom fixtures, lighting fixtures, and some finish carpentry. Most electrical and mechanical prep work has already been completed. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000 with a performance period of 90 calendar days. The applicable SIC for this acquisition is 1542 with a three year average annual small business size standard of $17 million. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of publication of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above written evidence of (1) a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern; (2) capability to successfully perform 15% of the work with their own labor forces (include complete references of past performance for similar work that demonstrates the capacity to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude); and (3) bonding and financial capacity. Complete information concerning experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. Evaluation of the responses received will be based solely on the information received by the closing date. If adequate response is not received from sufficient SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted, without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as SDB concerns. Availability of the solicitation is limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis to the extent available. Telephone requests will not be honored.
