This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB cocerns should indicate interest, in writing, as early as possible but not later than 10 calendar days of this notice by providing to the Contracting Office as a minimum the following information: (a) a positive statement of eligibility as a SDB concern; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and point of contacts and telephone numbers; (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum mangitude of the project to include both single and aggregate totals. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision be made on availability of interested SDB concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being colnsidered as a qualifying SDB, If adequeate interest is not received from SDB concerns by close of business 10 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis without further notice. Therefore, replies are requested from all concerns as well as from SDB concerns. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Construction of a new 1,500 S.F. steel frame, addition with metal roof and siding, to the south side of the existing facility complete with mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems. Renovations to the existing structure to convert existing floor space into ``office'' type space for break room, tool room, and office area. Addition of new insulated liner panels to existing roof purlins in the hanger bay portion of the building. Additon of new exhaust systems in existing hangar and maintenance bays. Upgrade existing electrical system. Removal and replacement of chemical resistant floor coating in existing hangar bay and adjacent spaces at Seymour Johnson AFB, MC. Solicitation will be available on or about 30 JUN 95. The performance period is approximately 240 calendar days.
