Howard 910/394-6278. This project consists of two (2) phases and
associated additives, site utilities, grading and drainage work,
mechanical and electrical services as described in the drawings and
specifications. PHASE 1: Relocate generator, remove and dispose of
items as described on Sheet A-1 to prepare Building 617 for complete
renovation. Remove all exterior doors and windows. Provide new exterior
doors and windows as described in the contract documents. Provide
gypsum partition walls, paint and vinyl wall covering, resilient tile,
ceramic tile, ceiling and other finishes as scheduled. Provide new
latrine and shower facilities as shown. Provide new mechanical system,
new electrical and communication system as shown. PHASE 2: Perform
site demolition, including the removal of asphalt and concrete paving
as indicated on the drawings. Provide 40' x 100' pre-engineered steel,
open sided shelter with associated concrete pad and footings as
indicated in the contract documents. Provide new chainlink fencing and
gates as indicated on the drawings. ADDITIVES 1 to PHASE 2: Provide
pre-engineered aluminum walkway canopy as indicated on the drawings,
including all associated footings and flashings. The cost of this
project is between $250,000-$500,000. This proposed acquisition is
being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business
Firms (SDB). Interested SDB firms need to submit their interest not
later than 26 Jun 95 and provide evidence of eligibility. If adequate
interest is not received from SDB firms, the solicitation will be
issued unrestricted; therefore, replies are requested from all business
concerns. SDB eligibility evidence to include performance references,
previous similar projects completed, and positive statement of
eligibility as a socially and economically disadvantaged business
concern, along with bonding capability. Information may be sent via fax
