Attention: Sheldon Whitely. To obtain plans and specifications, FAX
your requests on company letterhead to 317/353-3009, Attention: Ann
Krenke. If problems arise concerning your requests, call Ann Krenke at
317/351-4499. The project requirements shall include, but not be
limited to, the removal of an existing cafeteria domestic hot water
heater, an abandoned heat exchanger, valves, steam traps, and all
associated piping located in the Plenum area of B/1000 at the Naval Air
Warfare Center, Indianapolis, IN. The new cafeteria hot water heater
shall be locaged within an equipment room and shall be a
semi-instantaneous domestic hot water heater using low pressure steam
as the heating medium. All tie-ins into the existing piping systems
shall be performed by the Contractor, except that the Government shall
be responsible for the removal of all asbestos identified by the
Contractor prior to commencing work. The solicitation listed here is
being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business
(SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible
but NLT 15 days of this notice, indicated interest in the acquisition
by providing to the Contracting Officer evidence of adequate bonding
capacity, a list of firms (including points of contact and telephone
numbers) from which similar work has been performed, evidence of
financial capability, and a positive statement of eligibility as a
small socially and economically disadvantaged business cocern. If
adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation
will be issued as an unrestricted procurement without further notice.
Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business
concerns (e.g., small business, large business, etc.) as well as from
