This project includes providing all materials, labor, tools, and supervision to refurbish existing lighthouse by removing and disposing of existing lead paint from surfaces of the lighthouse; surface preparation and painting of all exterior and interior surfaces; painting all new steel members and connections; replacing U-bolt clamps; removing and replacing steel beam supporting the vestibule platform; and replacing main doors, hinges and hinge rods. Estimated range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Estimated bid opening is August 1995. Bid guarantee, payment and performance bonds are required.
