Project is to take place at the Federal Building/Post Office/Courthouse, Pierre, South Dakota. Scope of work includes but may not be limited to the following features: Remove and dispose of existing CFC chillers and piping. Remove and dispose of existing rooftop cooling towers and piping. Selective demolition of existing electrical system. Selective abatement of asbestos insulation on pipe fittings. Remove existing chilled and condensor water pumps. Remove existing water chemical treatment system. Remove existing building pneumatic control system and components. Install new non-CFC rotary screw chillers, piping and insulation. Install new rooftop cooling towers and piping. Install new cooling tower water filtration system and piping (will be priced as an ALTERNATE). Install new water chemical treatment system. Install new Andover building energy management and control system (will be priced as an OPTION). Install new water chemical treatment system. Install new water pumps. Install new electrical system. Install new mechanical room ventilation system. Modify existing structural support as required for system installations. Estimated cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000.
