Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, bonds, insurance, supervision and miscellaneous items required to resurface approximately 9,950 square yards of roadway with 2'' (inches) of compacted bituminous asphalt overlayment and approximately 3,300 square yards of roadway and parking lot with 1'' (inch) of compacted bituminous asphalt overlayment. Alternate bid work will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision and miscellaneous items required to fill, grade, compact and surface approximately 2,800 square yards of roadway and parking lot with a 3'' (inch) base course of bituminous asphalt ad a 2'' (inch) surface course of bituminous asphalt. Roadways and parking lots located at the Federal Correctional Institution, 1100 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia (Prince George County). All construction activities shall be in accordance with plans and specifications. Bids will be issued on or about June 26, 1995. A pre-bid conference will be held on July 12, 1995 at 9:00 am in the Federal Correctional Institution, Administration Building, 1100 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia. Estimated cost range of this project, to include alternate, is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses and small disadvantaged business concerns only.
