16 -- CARS INTEGRATION INTO PIONEER RPV SYSTEM POC Contact, Anna Lisa Wilkinson, Phone (703)604-0903 te Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-92-G-0217, with Pioneer UAV, Inc., Hunt Valley, MD, for the engineering services necessary to review, assess, and analyze the integration of a government furnished Common Automatic Recovery System (CARS) into the Pioneer Remotely Piloted Vehicle (RPV) system. The effort includes the fabrication, test and delivery of prototype launch/recovery system hardware and software, integration, landbased testing, ship installation and testing, and associated data. Pioneer UAV, Inc. is a joint venture between AAI Corporation, Hunt Valley, MD, and Israeli Aircraft Industries, Israel, and is the only firm currently possessing the data and technical expertise required to perform this modification and integration effort within the timeframe allowed.
