The front end is built with a lip as a locking device. There are six knife edge fins on the aft end for pressurinzing purposes. The No. 3 Brg Rotating Seal maintains the oil pressure within the No. 3 Brg Sump area. The Seal has 6 knife edge seals that embed themselves into the stationary Air/Oil Seal creating passages for air to flow from high to low pressure.
