54 -- TRANSONIC DYNAMIC TUNNEL (TDT) R-12 CONVERSION STORAGE TANK TO R134A SOL 1-123-GGJ.1110 POC BID DISTRIBUTION OFFICE, 804-864-2547. The TDT facility is being converted from using R-12 (freon) to R134A as the test medium. The basic requirement shall be for tank decontamination and two deliveries of R134A. An option may be included for the removal of the R-12 gas which will result in a credit being issued against the contract value. A determination to include an option will be based on the results of an on-going survey of Government needs of the R-12 gas. The overall delivery period shall be approximately 19 months and must be coordinated with other construction/supply efforts affecting this facility. FOB Destination Delivery. The bid opening date of July 29, 1995 is approximate. Solicitation available approximately June 29, 1995. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. Note 12. (0158)
