The Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, California, requires two (2) synthesized signal generators, Hewlett-Packard model HP83731B or equivalent. Required frequency range: 1 to 20 GHz with 1 Hz resolution. The generators shall be capable of internally generating AM, FM and phase modulation, as well as accepting external inputs to each modulation scheme. They shall have internal selectable 110 dB step attenuators with 1 dB steps; the leveled output power, as a minimum, shall cover the range of -110 dBm to +8 dBm; and they shall exhibit a stability of (1.5 x 10 -9 per day after 24 hours of continuous use. Delivery to Edwards Air Force Base required by 01 Aug 95.
