Modules to be utilized in ICU bedrooms. Quantity required is 9 each of left-hand units, and 9 each of right-hand units. Salient chararcteristics of unit are: 1) toilet can be floor- or wall-mounted to adapt to plumbing requirements, 2) decorative cabinet hides toilet from sight when not in use, with a seat-cover which allows for use as an examination or visitor's chair, 3) seat cover lifts easily for quick access to toilet, 4) standard vitreous chin toilet for a non-iknstitutional look and feel, 5) the toilet contains no pivoting or moving connections, 6) built-in utensil-washing arm allows nurses to complete tasks at bedside, 7) self-contained to save space and reduce installation costs, 8) available in right-hand and left-hand units to adapt to room design. Bidder offering an ''equal'' product will be required to provide as a part of his bid descriptive material sufficient to demonstrate that product is equal, such as cuts, illustrations, descriptive literature, etc. Contractor must provide rough-in and installation instructions within 30 days of award and units must be delivered no later than October 1995. Contractor will be required to delay shipment of units until notification by contracting officer that project is ready for delivery of units.
