The E-6040 NIC is a fiber optic (ST) network interface card for Macintosh (MAC II series) computers. These components generate and provide the network management data required by DMA Network Management system (Spectrum) to operate and support a DMA mission critical production and production support system. The required NICs must be fully compatible and interoperable with the existing hardware configuration. No other company makes the required equipment. Only E-6040 NICs can be used.
