81 -- LIGHTWEIGHT LAUNCH CONTAINERS SOL N00164-95-R-0178 DUE 072895 POC Contact, code 1163, Mr. Don Davis, Contracting Officer, 812- 854-3709 Code 81--Design, develop, and test Lightweight Launch Containers for the Distributed Explosive Technology (DET) 6.3B Shallow Water Mine Clearance System explosive array. The containers to be developed within the design parameters established in the specification shall be a free-breathing, single-use container for transportation, storing and deploying the DET array. One (1) each First Article unit will be required within 60 days after contract award. The production quantity of four (4) each will be due 30 days after acceptance of the first article unit. There is also an option for a quantity of ten (10) additional units. Inspection and Acceptance will be a destination.
