Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) proposes to
negotiate on a sole source basis with the National Council of State
Boards of Nursing, Inc, (NCSBN) 676 North St. Clair Street, Chicago, IL
60611 to carry out the development, implementation, and evaluation of
criteria and curriculum guidelines which have national consensus, and
will be used by the State Boards of Nursing to assess the credentials
of family nurse practitioners who apply for prescriptive privileges.
NCSBM is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the
required work and services as set forth in 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1).
