The Federal Prison Camp in Alderson, West Virginia seeks a qualified organization for the purpose of providing legal assistance to the inmates, one day per week (Thursday-excluding Thursday holidays). Legal assistance activities are to consist of interviews conducted by third year law students to individual inmates. Legal Assistance may cover a wide range of legal matters including family law, wills and trusts, property rights, and may entail research of state and federal statutes and case law. Legal assistance may encompass issues such as post-conviction, immigration, sentencing and parole, inmate discipline and other correctional issues. This procurement is not set aside for small business, (8(a) included), or labor surplus areas. Contract documents will be made available to any qualified organization within a 200-mile radius of the Federal Prison Camp. The estimated availability of the solicitation is June 29, 1995. The contract period is from the date of award through September 30, 1996.
