Description of project: The contractor shall perform all grading, excavation, backfill and embankment work required on the site to repair dikes bulk storage located at Malmstrom AFB, MT. Work to be performed will include excavation, site grading, preparation of subgrade, preparation of base course, materials removal and disposal of debris, providing for all necessary sheeting, shoring and protection of the excavations, pumping and dewatering, stabilizing subgrades including stripping and compacting and the construction of embankments. Invitation for bid will be issued on or about 20 Jun 1995. Bid opening will be on or about 21 Jul 1995. Performance period is 75 days after issuance of notice to proceed. The acquisition is open competition for large and small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Only written request for the solicitation will be considered. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Standard Industrial Code is 1629. (156)
