15 -- COMMUNICATION/NAVIGATION/SURVIVABILITY SUITE FOR VH-3D POC Contact, Randall Cohen, Phone (703)604-2000 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to contract with Sikorsky Aircraft Company (Sikorsky) for the FY 1996 manufacture and installation of a Service Life Extension Program (SELP) for five VH-3D Executive Helicopters. NAVAIRSYSCOM will also contract with Sikorsky to incorporate a communication, navigation, and survivability upgrade into the VBH-3D Helicopter. Sikorsky is the prime manufacturer and developer of the VH-3D helicopter and the only known source with the highly specialized expertise and technical data required to conduct the effort described above.
