Osorio, (510)372-2038 The VA Northern California Health Care System, Pleasant Hill, California, would like to intiate a share service contract for the maintenance of a Picker PQ 2000 CT with Voxel Q Scanner. Our intent is to structure the maintenance contract such that the successful contractor provides manufacturer's maintenance training, or equivalent, to the in-house staff with gradual phase out of the contractor's support. The contractor's service level shall remain constant for the first two years, with VA staff assuming additional maintenance responsibilities the third option year, and VA staff capable of maintaining the system by the fourth option year. This is not Request for Proposals nor a solicitation is to be issued. Firms that are in this type of business are encouraged to submit literature on their endeavors. Based on the response to this Market Survey, the agency will determine whether a competitive procurement is feasible. (0159)
