labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary
to modify the HVAC system, plumbing system, bathrooms, and wet rooms
for facilities located at USCG Station Manasquan, Pt Pleasant, NJ
(Ocean County). Work includes providing new hot water recirculation
system for bldg, new two-fixture bathroom for bldg, modify wet rooms in
Boathouse, replacement of gas-fired forced hot water boiler/burner unit
NTE 510MBTUH, and incidental related work. Project includes an Option
Bid item for a new gas-fired chilled water HVAC system for the main
bldg. The SIC code is 1711. Performance time is 150 days from receipt
of Notice to Proceed. Estimated cost of this project is between
$100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation packages to be available on or

procurement is being issued pursuant to the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration program and is open for bidding to both
small and large business concerns. INFORMATION PERTAINING TO MINORITY,
WOMAN OWNED, AND DISADVANTAGED ENTERPRISES: The Department of
Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Utilization
(OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, woman-owned, and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier.
The DOT Bonding Assistance Program nables firms to apply for bid,
payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 millin per contract. The DOT
provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a suret against losses.
Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Proram (STLP)
at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. he
