Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision
necessary for concrete pier repairs at USCG Station Provincetown, MA
(Barnstable County). The work includes the replacement of 750 lf of
joint sealer between deck slabs, the repair of 340 lf of surface cracks
in prestressed piles, the repair of 75 sf of spalled and cracked
concrete, and incidental related work. Work may need to be done from
both the beach and a boat. Optional bid item to replace six elastomer
energy absorber buckling columns. Bids will be evaluated based on the
total of the base bid and the optional bid item. Estimated cost of this
project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Solicitation packages to
be available on or about June 28, 1995. There is a $20.00
non-refundable charge for the bid package which may be obtained by

procurement is unrestricted and is being issued pursuant to the Small
Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. THIS NOTICE IS FOR
INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES FOR MINORITY, WOMAN OWNED, AND DISADVANTAGED
ENTERPRISES: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and
Disadvantaged Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority,
woman-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short
term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related
contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at
any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply
for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per
contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a
surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short
Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts
receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For
