36 -- DESTRUCTION SHREDDER SOL BEP-95-67(N) POC Contact Janet Moore, Contract Specialist, 202/874-9177. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) plans to issue Solicitation No.: BEP-95-67(N) for the replacement of the current Destruction Shredder. The Contractor will be required to remove the existing shredder and replace it with a shredder capable of shredding 1100 lbs. of paper per hour. The shredder must have the capability to load and shred rolls of paper 42 inches outside diameter by 24 inches wide and sheets of paper up to 26 inches wide by 24 inches long. The shredder is to be mounted in a manner such that the shredded material will be directly discharged into the hopper of the BEP's waste fuel boiler. The BEP anticipates that this solicitation will be available on or about June 19, 1995. Interested parties are required to submit a written request for a copy of this solicitation.
