Officer. The Air Force Development Test Center (AFDTC) intends to
acquire competitively reconditioned, water-cooled, centrifugal water
chiller for use at Eglin AFB, FL. All components shall be new, except
the shell. The chiller shall be 200 ton capacity, 460/480 volt, 3
phase, 60 hertz, and it's electrical consumption shall not exceed 0.68
kw/ton at full load. Unit shall have DDC or microprocessor controls
with a factory installed line starter. Water shall leave the unit at 45
degrees F and enter at 55 degrees F, with condenser water entering at
85 degrees F and leaving at 95 degrees F. The chiller shall be
delivered ready for operation, with a full operating charge of oil and
refrigerant that meets current EPA regulations and has an Ozone
Depletion Factor of 0.05 or less. Prospective bidders shall furnish the
complete historical data of the chiller, including date of original

by the AFDTC Commander to hear offerors' or potential offerors'
confidential concerns, if any, regarding this acquisition. His purpose
is not to replace the technical staff or contracting officer but to
serve as an honest broker and communicate any contractor concern,
issues, disagreement personnel. Routine technical and contracting
issues should therefore be directed to the technical and contracting
staff identified elsewhere in this synopsis. All responsible sources
may submit an offer which will be considered. (No contract award will
be made on the basis of bids/proposals received in response to this
synopsis.) Firms responding to this solicitation should reference
