The initial issuance date of on or about June 1, 1995 for Solicitation
No. GSC-KES-00066-N-07-19-95 has been changed to on or about June 19,
1995. The new Solicitation No. is GSC-KES-00066-N-08-09-95. The
solicitation may be obtained from the General Services Administration,
Information Technology Service, Center For Information Technology
Multiple Award Schedules Acquisitions, KES, 18th & F Streets, NW, Room
G-1, Washington, DC 20405. The new closing date for receipt of offers
is August 9, 1995 at 4:30 P.M., local time at the place of issuance.
The following categories are solicited for purchase and repair
parts/spare parts: Class 5805/5830/7042 - Telephone Equipment and
Accessories; Telephone Answering and Voice Messaging Systems and
Accessories; Video Teleconferencing Equipment and Accessories; Class
5810 - Communications Security Equipment and Accessories; Class 5815 -
Facsimile Equipment; Line Conditioning Interface, Signaling and Data
Networking Products; Class 5820 - Pagers and Public Address Systems
(wired and wireless transmission, including background music systems)
and Accessories; Two-Way Radio Transmitters/Receivers/Antennas and
Accessories; Broadcast Band Radio Transmitters and Accessories;
Microwave Radio Equipment/Waveguides and Accessories; Class 5821 -
Airborne Radio Transmitters/Receivers and Accessories; and Class 5825
Radio Navigation Equipment and Accessories. The following categories
are also solicited for maintenance and repair service: Class
5805/5830/7042 - Telephone Equipment; Telephone Answering and Voice
Messaging Systems; Video Teleconferencing Equipment; Class 5815 -
Facsimile Equipment; Line Conditioning Interface, Signaling and Data
Networking Products; and Class 5820 - Public Address Systems (wired and
wireless transmission, including background music systems). Training,
Design Assistance, Installation, Deinstallation, and Reinstallation of
all Telecommunications Equipment offered under this Schedule are also
solicited. All Telecommunications Services offered must support the
Telecommunications Equipment being offered and cannot be offered
separately. NOTE: The solicitation will be written in WordPerfect 5.2
and issued on 3.5 inch high density DOS formatted diskettes only. Hard
copies will be made available upon request. When the solicitation is
released, it will also be placed on the GSA ITS On-line Schedule System
(OSS) Bulletin Board for download only. The OSS may be accessed by
setting your communications parameters to 8 data bits, no parity, 1
stop bit (8,N,1) Full Duplex and ANSI enabled. Terminal settings should
be set at something other than NONE or TTY. Protocol should be X, Y, or
Z Modem (Z Modem preferred) (No ASCII). For all baud rates dial
202/501-7254. Create your own password. (REMEMBER your password which
Case sensitive.) Offerors shall respond with two hard copies of their
proposals in the format specified in L.14 of the Solicitation.
Responses on diskette only will not be accepted. Contract Period
February 1, 1996 (or Date of Award, whichever is later) through
September 30, 1999. Offerors' attention is directed to the late
proposal clause contained in the solicitation. Offers received after
the August 9, 1995 closing date may be considered for the contract
period February 1, 1997 (or Date of Award, whichever is later) through
September 30, 1999, in accordance with the Open Season provision in
Section L. Telecopier proposals, renewals, or modifications, or
telecopier withdrawals of proposals, renewals, or modifications are not
permitted and will be disregarded if received. This solicitation shall
not solicit, nor will there be any acquisition of products which are
not U.S. Made End Products, Designated Country End Products, Caribbean
Basin Country End Products, Canadian End Products, or Mexican End
Products in accordance with FAR 25.402(c), deviations to FAR Clauses
52.225-8 and 52.225-9, and General Services Administration Acquisition
Regulation (GSAR) 525.402(a). This solicitation EXCLUDES: Any products
or services that are not commercial; Tempest Products; Security and
Telecommunications Equipment designed for covert surveillance and/or
intelligence operations; Air/Flight Control Equipment and Radar
Equipment; Tower Structures; and Military/Tactical Telecommunications
