This integrated system includes the following: A. Hardware: (1) 1ea Data General AV5500 System, 400Mhz CPU, 64MB memory, 1GB disk, CD-ROM; (2) 1ea VME sync Controller; (3) 1ea D217 14 inch data terminal, cable, and keyboard; (4) 2ea RS-232 modems with cable; (5) 2ea RS-232 to V.35 connection; (6) 1ea 10PPM laser printer, 2MB; (7) 1ea 30 foot extension cable; (8) 2ea Ethernet cables; (9) 1ea 802.3 transceiver; (10) 1ea GB SCSI Disc with Controller; (11) 2ea V.35 Conn, DB-25 to V.35 Cables; and (12) 1ea AT-Style Keyboard, 101 keys. B. Software: (1) 1ea Unix Ops Sys with X-Windows; and (2) Sprint's Proprietary TPX400 Software. C. Training: (1) Data General Unix Training (Course S-205); (2) Data General System Administrator Training (Course S-288); and (3) Sprint TPX400 System Training. D. Installation: System installation and testing is required. E. Maintenance: Annual maintenance for both PPM and OPPM, for a base year and two option years. This should include: monthly software support fee, monthly hardware maintenance, and hourly OPPM hardware maintenance. G. Purchase of the following: PC Sprintmail/WINDOWS version in the following quantities: 1-10, 11-100, 101-1000, and site license. Interested firms must submit capability statements and pricing information. Only written responses will be considered, and must be received within 15 calendar days of the date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is soley within the the discretion of the Government.
