Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), Point Mugu, CA intends to solicit on an other than competitive basis for procurement of radio frequency modules and workstations to augment existing Advanced Multiple Environment Simulators (AMES) from Advanced Systems Development, Inc. (ASDI), 96-10 23rd Avenue, East Elmhurst, New York 11369. The hardware will be used to upgrade existing Electronic Combat Simulation and Evalaution Laboratory (ECSEL) located at NAWCWPNS, Point Mugu, CA and Electronic Integration Laboratory (EWIL) located at NAWCWPNS, China Lake,CA. The equipment being used for this system upgrade must be compatible with the existing AMES hardware and software as well as threat libraries and must not degrade the present performance of the AMES system which uses ASDI's unique digital and RF architecture, making any other manufacturer's architecture incompatible. The proposed contract type is a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity. Minimum and maximum quantities will be provided with the solicitation.
