Margaret Yarrington, (513) 255-6134. The Air Force Aeronautical Systems
Center(ASC), Directorate for Development Planning (XR) plans to release
a Request for Proposal (RFP) on 30 June 1995 for contemplated multiple
awards for five-year Time & Material Indefinite Delivery type
contracts. These contracts will provide ASC/XR and DoD organizations
with technical and management skills to perform specialized projects in
support of development planning requirements. This support will
encompass the following areas: 1) system/concept analysis, 2) concept
design, 3) subsystem design, integration and analysis, and 4) planning,
design, fabrication & test for technology demonstration. This
requirement was advertised in the 21 April 1995 edition of the CBD as
a Draft RFP. This notice serves as the notice of contracting action
(NOCA) for this acquisition. Offerors will then have 30 days in which
to respond to the RFP. ASC/XR has scheduled a Bidders' Conference in
Building 11A, Room 233, on 16 June 1995 at 1:00 P.M. Potential offerors
must be able to obtain SECRET personnel, facility and storage
capability in accordance with Industrial Security Manual (DoD 5220.22M)
by contract award. Foreign participation on this contract is not
authorized. All respondents should indicate whether they are large or
small business in relation to SIC Code 3721, size standard 1,500
people. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The
only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious
concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use
established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal
development phase of this acquisition. Potential offerors should use
established channels to request information, pose questions, and voice
concerns before resorting to the use of the Ombudsman. Potential
