Sought. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division Warminster
(NAWCADWAR) is seeking information and commercial sources for products
and technologies which may be applicable toward the area of On-Board
Oxygen Generation System (OBOGS) technologies. The Naval Air Warfare
Center is investigating OBOGS technologies which provide better
performance, less weight, compatiblity with standard regulators, and
protection in a chemical/biological environment. The COGS shall have
the ability to provide 100% purity of oxygen through ceramic technology
when supplied with ambient air and electrical power. They shall be
designed to replace the liquid oxygen converters aboard USN/USAF
tactical aircraft. The COGS shall use existing oxygen system plumbing
to deliver the breathing gas to the cockpit. This is NOT a Request for
Proposals (RFPs), nor is it an Invitation for Bid (IFB). It is not to
be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to ultimately
issue a solicitation or a contract. A Pre-Solicitation Conference is
scheduled for 29 June 1995 at the Naval Air Warfare Center in
Warminster, Pennsylvania. Respondants should contract Ms. Fran Johnson,
