Merson, Contracting Officer (301) 713-0839 The U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA/NOS intends to issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of telecommunication services for the installation of one dedicated 4 wire 9.6kb duplex analog data circuit between Suitland MD and Lannion, France. The Offeror shall be required to provide and install all cables required for interfacing between demarc and modems. The circuit must be compatible with the Government furnished Paradyne 3400-al-110 modems. The Offeror shall be responsible obtaining all applications, licenses, permits and construction approvals including import or export approvals, work permits and visas necessary to comply with local, regional, national and international requirements for performing this service. The contract awarded as a result of the solicitation will be for a base year and includes four, twelve month option periods. A fixed price contract is contemplated.
